  •  Tea baggers really are being suckered.. (11+ / 0-) the one percenters and their shills
I wrote about it awhile ago: The 1 percenters played teabaggers for suckers

Matea Gold @ the Washington Post writes:
Tea party PACs reap money for midterms, but spend little on candidates - April 27, 2014

Out of the $37.5 million spent so far by the PACs of six major tea party organizations, less than $7 million has been devoted to directly helping candidates, according to the analysis, which was based on campaign finance data provided by the Sunlight Foundation.
With a breakdown of the actual amounts spent in six startlingly illustrative charts covering:
    • Senate “conservatives” action and senate “conservatives” fund
    • Tea party express
    • Tea party patriots citizens fund
    • Tea party leadership fund
    • Madison project & Madison action fund
    • Freedom works
    Tea party spending on candidates

Not that this is surprising, they’re republicans - "conservatives" - Skimming off profits especially from those least able to fight back is their thing.

But if this doesn’t show pure cowardice from the leadership on the right; unwilling to compete with the teabaggers that they themselves helped to create.  It just amazes me. The down low non-stop dishonestly

    •  Internationally condemned (12+ / 0-)
      5. Solitary confinement of pregnant women is harmful and internationally condemned.

The United Nations Rules for the Treatment of Women Prisoners explicitly forbids solitary confinement for pregnant women, which both jeopardizes their psychological health and makes it that much harder for them to access pre-natal healthcare. But the U.S. does not seem to think the rule applies here, so pregnant women are still placed in solitary.

Boy, we have a lot of work to do, Today's racism as a central tenet to the "conservative" platform and a PIC profiting on suffering where even the unborn, despite all the laws put out by the RWNJ's party - limiting a woman's choice in the matter, now sentencing women and their un-born children both to sanctioned torture.

What a fucked up mess. We must fix this somehow

      Tonight;s tweet:

If Al Qaeda fighters had water boarded U.S. soldiers, would @AndrewCMcCarthy argue it wasn’t torture?
      - indeed

      Thx MB
