most "Hillary haters" are now at least "I'm okay with her." As of May 2008, I couldn't stand her. However, she and Bill have behaved about as well as they could over the past four years. "Hillary hate" seems relegated to a few purity holdouts I'd say. The rest of us have moved on.

my political beliefs.  Time hasn't changed that at all.

In a general election, were she the D nominee, I suspect the Republicans would come up with someone sufficiently odious that I'd encourage those whose votes matter to vote for her.

But as much as I admire Warren, she's not my Jedi Master or anything.  Why should I put her judgment ahead of my own?  I distrust the assertion made or assumption held by many across the political spectrum towards an unthinking, unreflective assent to, and even cheerleading for, anything and everything a specified leader endorses.

While there are plenty of areas in which I admit my lesser degree of knowledge and training and accept the expert consensus (e.g., climate science), voting is not one of those areas.  I read, I listen, I consider, and then I decide.  There are voices I respect on basis of previous insights and actions, and Warren is one of them.  But it's my vote, and in that booth, I'm the damn decider.
