  •  WHich propaganda machine are you over with? (0+ / 0-)

It's not clear from your comment. The one that's always trying to make excuses for the president's pro corporate, right wing policies (like allegedly this diarist), or the one that's always blaming the president for everything because he's a sosh-list.

    •  It's all propaganda to some extent (1+ / 0-)

it's not even necessary to distinguish the two as noted in your post.

I don't see this diarist making excuses for Obama's corporate leanings; I see exactly the opposite, so I'm not sure why you're asking this way?

This all started with "what the Republicans did to language".

      •  It was the last line of the diary (0+ / 0-)
There you go–and we blame the economy on the President
        .
        •  That's not "making an excuse" (1+ / 0-)

Now, I'm hardly a champion for what this particular administration has done for this economy--little to nothing, for many reasons, including this particular POTUS' apparent love for The Corporate--but one of us is reading that (not quite the) last line wrong, and at this point, given the rest of the contents of the diary, I honestly don't think it's me.

I put blame on this administration for putting the foxes in charge of the economic hen-house, but the diary remark in question doesn't seem to be making excuses for that either--it reads to me like "all this other shit is going on, and we simply blame the POTUS"?? Seems quite snarky, overall...and it's not as if there isn't plenty of blame to go around.
