    as a property owner in many states YOU are obligated to know you have a tax bill and they are not legally bound to send you one.  My state of WA is that way, so are some others.

    And I'm not too sure if they have to send you personally a notice of intent to sell for a tax lien either, one would think so, but if they have no legal obligation to even bill you then perhaps not.

    With $20K in overall tax outstanding though, that's quite a bit more than the $6.30 mentioned in the title of this diary.  Seems like there's more to it here?
