(and I'm not so sure they will if the vote is private), I hope they don't allow a sham transfer to the wife. Out of all the great things that Adam Silver said and did, it concerned me that he was so specific about the fine ONLY applying to Donald Sterling. To me, that almost invites one of these "on paper" sales that don't really mean anything.

She is not innocent either. It was documented in the prior lawsuit that she went around these apartment buildings identifying herself as a government inspector. The reason for this (it was alleged) was so she could record the race of the tenants who answered thereby facilitating the subsequent discrimination.

Her carefully worded written statement flies in the face of her initial comments about not being sure the voice of her spouse of more than 50 years was actually him. She was also caught on camera AFTER that statement came out going out to dinner with this supposedly estranged husband and forcefully denying to the paparazzo that he was a racist.

Were they involved in the prior lawsuit?

      •  I saw no mention of them in the prior filings. (0+ / 0-)

I would prefer that none of them have anything to do with the team so that the fans and team can have a clean break. I think if the kids are involved, the stench on the team will not as easily be erased.

I've read a son-in-law came out rather forcefully against Donald Sterling but that's about it. [I'm not counting the PR statement put out by Shelley].
