    It's simply that, until they're all reversed by either courts or legislatures, I think Dems are missing a bet by not organizing such a two-front response.

      If nothing else it would help some people get ID that would make their daily life easier. I see one thing that would be crucial in places like Wisconsin where we have an injunction against IDs at least for now. We have to be very sure that voters understand they do not need an ID to vote right now. Otherwise misinformation could spread and hold down turnout. It never ceases to amaze me how little some people know about how elections work. And the way Wisconsin Republicans keep fiddling with the election laws is enough to make anyone confused.

        We have to be very sure that voters understand they do not need an ID to vote right now.
        I'd forgotten that more than one state tried to pull that fast one where no ID was required (billboards and everything).
