You think Republican primary voters chose Mitt Romney? Or was it  the $77 million he spent, more than Gingrich, Ron Paul and Rick Santorum combined?

When super PAC money is factored in, overall spending on Romney's behalf jumps to $122 million, bringing his cost-per-vote to just under $30. By this measure, each delegate cost more than $200,000.

And I seem to remember you citing the economy as the reason Obama would never get reelected in 2012.

would never get reelected in 2012.  I cited the economy as the reason why shouldn't get reelected.

What you'll remember me saying is that I couldn't believe that Mitt Romney won the nomination.  In a year when the President was vulnerable, no decent candidate stepped up on the Republican side.

I never believed that Romney could be elected President, so, much as I didn't and don't believe that the President deserved reelection, I expected that he would be.

But you have to admit that if Mitt had not had the money he did, he never would have won the nomination. ;)
I thought Huntsman could have been dangerous to Obama, but he never had a chance.

          the candidates are crap.

With all that money, you'd think he could have hired a strategist capable of keeping him from being so damned stupid.
