don't believe that all of this stemmed from the video and was a pre-planned attack that the admin. just didn't care enough about to deal with?

for you this is about disagreeing with the President?  Begs the question, why come here?  There are a gazillion places on the internet devoted to nothing but that.

              •  Disagreeing with the President is not wrong. (0+ / 0-)

Do you agree with the drone wars, with the TPP, with NSA domestic surveillance, the DOJ's war on whistleblowers, and the non-prosecuteabilty of "systemically important" banks ?

Because if you do then why are at site for progressives ?

                •  You conflate disagreement with your highly (3+ / 0-)

emotional hyperbolic attacks on those who disagree with your assessment on Benghazi WITH de facto proof that we agree with everything this Administration has done.  Not so, but you don't seem to be willing to argue your point of view on its merits, and instead sink to using weird retro hippie attacks on others as those who "chant and dance" around "BHO" and who "drink Koolaid" and "have made a funeral pyre of the Democratic party"...

You make yourself the easy target of jokes by how you chose to argue your point.

I don't agree with President (and once candidate) Obama on everything, never have, never will.  But this doesn't mean that those specific and pointed and fact and value based differences preclude me from believing the Republicans continue to over-reach on Benghazi.  They waste critical time and real tax money on the pursuit of Benghazi when more reasoned and reasonable targets of opposition and criticism exist that they would find common ground with progressive Democrats (drones, NSA, etc).

But, uh, "hippie attacks" are the attacks of a loser.

And which "60% of us who disagree with you on Obama" are you referencing?  I checked a number of polls on job approval ratings and can't find that number, I checked polls on Benghazi as a single issue and can't find that number either.  Would you be so kind as to include a link so I can check the poll and the methodology?  I am still willing to take you seriously if you provide links to data.

                  •  Excellent points (0+ / 0-)

in particular the WASTE of taxpayer resources on having public 'hearings' so that some Repugnant can get up there and bloviate.

No, not all of us are averse to criticisng Mr Obama, but when you use the old right wing tropes "campaigning and not governing", and "credibility" and the idea of a LIE or CONSPIRACY in discussing Mr Obama, you are using some of the old 'silent' dog whistles of the wing nutters.

As for that 60% number, give us a link then if you can prove it.  May be that is true, I'm certainly not holding my breath on prosecution of banksters or reigning in the NSA, but that hardly makes Obama an abject liar who set the whole thing up.

And for the scumbags who made that video, these people put our guys over there on the ground at risk.  One does NOT have to agree with the wars, but you damned sure don't intentionally put your own people at risk.  That is, unless you're a selfish, ignoramous Tea Bagger, and then you certainly are more than willing to let 'others' do the heavy lifting.

            •  60% do not approve of his (0+ / 0-)

9/11 occurs on W's watch, but rightwingers refuse to consider even the whisper of a thought that he's to blame in any respect, however minute, that he was to blame.

Benghazi occurs on Obama's watch, but rightwingers (and some others, apparently!) are determined to blame Obama when an act of terrorism occurs anywhere in the world against Americans.

For the life of me, I can't understand what the big deal is about characterizing the Benghazi attack as terrorism. It was, Obama called it that right after the attack. So what?

The only explanation I can see is that some people thought they might be able to turn the terrible tragedy of the deaths of some Americans to their own personal political advantage.

      Now, that's genuinely repulsive.
