    Myself and a bunch of friends drove down from Colorado through a horrendus blizzard. Ironically the concert was at the former Santa Fe "Indian School" (maybe it's not so ironic after all, since it was the former indian school, perhaps thanks to the influence of people like Pete Seeger...).

    There were no chairs (that I remember) in the gymnasium where he played; we all sat on the floor. And at one point, with more people coming in Pete said, "We need a little more room so let's all move together so you're all close to each other."* We did, and it made for magic moments as we all, from all over, became One Big Family of singers.

    (*I remember thinking, "Fire Marshall must like Pete, too, or he'd never let this happen...")
