    Author needs to know that the correct terminology for this is "STRANGLE",
    NOT "choke"!  Strangle is what happens when one applies external pressure around/on the throat with hands, ligature, etc.  "Choke" is what happens when the internal airway is blocked by a solid  or swelling (from being strangled).  I don't care what the police call it, it is not a choke-hold, rather a strangle-hold!
    Why can't writers get this correct?
