    Tea Party candidate Phil Moffett is leading former Jefferson County GOP chair Shellie May 55-45 with 23/38 precincts in. Moffett would give Dems an opening in this seat in the Eastern part of Jefferson County, which usually leans GOP.

      Dems are touting some of their suburban candidates in places like HD-36 and 32 and they're raising money at good clips too.
