    Clover cover sounds good. If I do the lawn over in the back, I'd like to get one of those mixes that has flowers in it. Love the little English daisies.

      for dry, sunny spots and has a delicious aroma.

      It grows maybe 5 inches tall, has lovely tiny flowers that the bees LOVE, and can take some foot traffic.
      It is hardy here in New Hampshire.

      A nice mix would be to interplant with wooly time, which cannot take foot traffic, but adds a nice texture and would be hardy in your neighborhood.

      I started mine from seed and once you get a patch going it is easy to rip up small bunches and just heel them in anywhere you want it to spread.
