    which rather puts a monkey wrench into any argument citing the Eighth Amendment and actual practice during the history of Our Republic.

    Face it, folks: Our old model has discredited itself beyond salvation, and the only new ones on the horizon are even worse (which is why I'm opposed to Constitutional Conventions).

    Dogs from the street can have all the desirable qualities that one could want from pet dogs. Most adopted stray dogs are usually humble and exceptionally faithful to their owners as if they are grateful for this kindness. -- H.M. Bhumibol Adulyadej
