  •  Horrible company (0+ / 0-)

I was interviewed by two managers and hired a month later.  A month after that, one of those same managers quit due to a nervous breakdown, leaving with twenty years experience.  The other manager would later be demoted a couple places due to incompetence.  I was reporting to the latter.

Over time I watched many more people leave without jobs lined up, some also with a lot invested in their time at this company.  New hires would come in and leave after a few months because they saw what was happening.  All of this was due to a high level executive who yelled condescending remarks at everyone around him.  By his bullying he was emptying out entire departments, such that no one knew how the systems worked, and frustrated newbies were training scared newbies.

I watched one of my employees be dismissed because he was put into conflicting priorities:  Do both of these things at the same time or else.  I myself was later caught in one of these traps and am out of work.

I do not regret no longer working for a dysfunctional company, only that I left a position for a failed promise at this hellhole.
