    in a Dymo printer and print stamps from Endicia.  You have to pay for the rolls of stamp "blanks" but the nice thing is it is there when you need it, you can print a wide range of stamp values depending on what you are mailing (size and weight), it automatically updates when postage rates change, you have lots fewer leftover stamps lying around and you save extra trips to the post office.  Thermal process so inks are not an issue.  For moderate volumes, a pretty good system.

    Free markets would be a great idea, if markets were actually free.
