    He's as far right as Akin, but he has no gaffes as far as I can tell.  Seems more like Mike Lee than Todd Akin.

      but unfortunately in a state like NE, there's nothing to capitalize on as the dems don't have any governors to run against him (Exon, Kerrey, Nelson)

        come off as one.  He's similar to Paul Ryan.  I think he'd be more likely than not to defeat a Democrat even in a light red state like North Carolina.
