but I'm afraid too many of the people in Missouri, if told what the Republicans are doing, would approve.

Stripping unemployment?  Why don't they just get another job?

Removing early voting?  Preventing voter fraud!

Anti-Choice legislation?  Why, every baby is a miracle, and your total responsibility to take care of once it's born!

Redistricting and gerrymandering?  So?  The Democrats would do it too if they were in office!

I gotta get out of this State.

I hope we shall crush in its birth the aristocracy of our monied corporations which dare already to challenge our government to a trial by strength, and bid defiance to the laws of our country. -- Thomas Jefferson

But I still have plenty of family there. And most of them are part of the problem. I've pretty much written off Missouri, or Misery as I call it. You were spot on with their replies to all of these. The majority in Missouri are all for these things and they will reward those that delivered, on a weekday in the voting booth.

A Democratic governor and a Dem senator.

Missouri is gerrymandered for the legislature and US House.  But Dems hold most statewide offices.

And St. Louis City and County (about 1.3 million people) are very blue, went for Obama by more than 60% in 2012.

Missouri is a good place and leaving won't make it better....
I have family in StL and the struggle to keep the state a decent place to live needs you.

I buy and sell well trained riding mules and American Mammoth Jack Stock.
