    Arabic from a long ago trip to Cairo plus a few words in Japanese from when I was a companion/caregiver to an elderly first generation born Japanese American lady in the later stages of ALZ.

    Since my facial recognition software has many deficits, I am rarely able to correctly identify and individually distinguish racial characteristics. Thus, when living with m'lady and buying a few items from a small storekeeper, I offered "arigato" (thank you in Japanese) to the cashier for her service. "I'm Filipino, " she promptly responded...
