  •  I so agree Jim (13+ / 0-)

I think the obvious target of our outrage should be the media itself.  Start going after the offices and buildings of all the major networks and the homes and gathering places of all the media "stars", begin affecting the lives of the 1% who pay their salaries.  Make their lives a living hell and force their cameras on us.  Without the media it's simply a local event.  Anyone who lived through the civil rights strife or the Vietnam War protests can immediately see the difference in the coverage.  The riots and protests were chilling and in your face on the 6 o'clock news.  In comparison, we had to search to get OWS news or views of the large protests before the Iraq War.

We could be a pain in the ass to these guys. They better put down the bullhorn and look around before its too late.

"I had, for five months, people sitting outside my home, going into my garden in San Francisco, angering neighbors, hanging their clothes from trees, building all kinds of things — Buddhas? I don't know what they were — couches, sofas, chairs, permanent living facilities on my front sidewalk. If they were poor and they were sleeping on my sidewalk, they would be arrested for loitering, but because they have 'Impeach Bush' across their chest, it's the First Amendment…. We have to make responsible decisions in the Congress that are not driven by the dissatisfaction of anybody who wants the war to end tomorrow," Pelosi told the gathering at the Sofitel, arranged by the Christian Science Monitor. Though crediting activists for their "passion," Pelosi called it "a waste of time" for them to target Democrats. "They are advocates," she said. "We are leaders."
