Terrier group. My darling baby sister breds welshies. She has three running around her house now, and she is happy with just the three.

Btw.  Fala was a Scottish terrier but with a much smarter owner who resided in the whitehouse.

I haven't had a dog in over 20 years but my last dog was a Scottie.  We're a cat family, but when I retire in 2 years, I hope to get a dog.  I found the Scottish Terrier Rescue of Washington (DC) and that's where I'll look.  As an old human, I need an old dog!  Rescue Scotties are hard to come by because it's not a particular popular breed these days.

should know what a Scottish Terrier is!  One of the most famous ones was Fala who was Franklin Roosevelt's dog.  Fala went everywhere with the President and was photographed frequently.  He may have been the reason for the popularity of Scotties during that era.  You can find all kinds of home goods and clothing with Scotties on them from the 1940's.
