    Isn't it true that some studies suggest that lead in the environment can have deleterious consequences?

      in waterfowl it caused poisoning. In other fauna it's not so cut and dried.

      No human has ever gotten lead poisoning from all the wildlife shot with lead bullets or bird shot.

      A lot depends on the state the lead is in and the way it is ingested. If you eat a lead poisoned animal it's not good. Eat an animal with lead fragments and you are getting less lead than background amounts in metro areas.
