  •  Hmm. (4+ / 0-)

The time works for me (as far as I know at this point) and I'd like to go to another meetup before we move a few days after that, but I doubt I can eat anything there? I guess maybe consider me as a yes if it ends up getting moved elsewhere for size?

    •  Why would you think there's nothing (3+ / 0-)

you can eat there? There's lots of variety, plenty of choices for people on restricted diets, too. Here's the menu, have a look. I'll put you down as a maybee in the meantime.

      And I didn't realize you're moving - we'll miss having you here.

in Japanese food -- it's in soy sauce, often in miso, a lot of Japanese curry sauces use flour.

Yes, moving to Boston (well, actually Cambridge) at the end of June as Arjun's graduating.

        •  Ah, I hadn't considered the soy sauce. (1+ / 0-)

All I could think of was, "but it's all rice!" Sorry, that was thoughtless of me.

of Japanese and Chinese food that it's all rice yet out of reach. GF tamari tastes perfectly good, but I assume it's enough more expensive that it's not worth it to most restaurants to invest in it.

            •  Because I cook a lot of Asian food, (0+ / 0-)

I know that not all dishes have soy sauce in them. But you have know which ones they are.
