Obviously, some criticism should happen. Where should that be at?

And I agree we should participate to some extent, but really, if we participate and just talk about how she's being unfairly attacked then it gives her an automatic advantage and doing that is a bad idea in my opinion.

There have to be a lot of local reps that are generally good on the issues and great on one issue out there. Maybe even someone from a union, god forbid. I'm just saying that not looking for a challenger is a bad idea. And if people know someone local then they should get their name out.

She comes out with a policy position or makes a statement in support of a bad thing.

Criticism of the form of 'What she supports is a bad thing. It's a really bad thing. Oppose this bad thing, everybody. Reconsider your support of this bad thing, Hillary.' Sounds good to me.

'She supports this Bad Thing therefore she's a neoliberal Wall Street sellout and just as bad as the GOP' sounds stupid to me.

That's my personal position. Your mileage may vary.

      •  So then nothing to talk about with her record? (0+ / 0-)

Because that is the information we have to consider. If we only criticize new positions she takes then there will be no criticisms.

(and I'll thank you to not put words in my mouth about things I haven't addressed)....

"Hillary supported X as Senator. X is a bad thing. We should oppose X and pressure Hillary to say that if elected President she will oppose X."

          Versus

"Hillary supported X as Senator. This shows she's a neoliberal corporatist sellout who is a DINO."

What's going to be more productive?
