    by the Democrats in my own state (IL) on fixing our Renewable Energy/Portfolio Standard, I don't agree with your insinuation that there's no difference.  

    While it's true that the influence of big money is corruption the process on both sides, we are never going to be able to fix or change that with a party who gets their talking points and agenda from a couple of billionaire polluters, whose sole purpose is to line their pockets, regardless of other people's property, health, right to food/water security, etc.  Using your logic, we'd be better off with Romney in the White House (a man that the Republican's admit would only be needed for his signature).  I don't agree with that.  Obama is trying to do some things facing the worst opposition and least productive congress ever.  Having said that, the power of money is affecting his moves, SCOTUS, legislators on both sides.

    Just because we are frustrated though, doesn't mean that we can give up the fight.  How will we ever be able to get campaign finance and other reforms done with the Tea Party running agendas?
