Grayson caused fellow Democrats in 2012's Florida elections with his previous nasty rhetoric and "ad" comparing his well-known and long-term Republican opponent to a "terrorist"?   He can be a loose cannon and advertising goldmine for future Republican elections.

Agreed with EVERYTHING he said, and everything he said was TRUE! So where are you coming from...I suspect you're a Repuke in Dim's clothing.

      •  That's out of line (6+ / 0-)

        Not to mention fallacious.

Almost everything you do will seem insignificant, but it is most important that you do it.

      •  Really? (7+ / 0-)

So MJD in Florida has secretly hidden her Republican identity for 9 years so that she can come out in THIS diary?

It isn't a matter of agreeing with WHAT he said but HOW he said it.  NOW you may have liked it - I know I did enjoy some of his rants and I certainly agree with most of his message but I'm not in Florida.  And it does seem that he lost his District pretty impressively.  So, you may not see things the way MJD does but accusing her of being "a Repuke in Dim's clothing" is just stupid.

Grayson told the truth, brutally, but the press got their panties in a twist because he was, to quote one newspaper "uncivil".

But this is the very thing that is needed - Grayson to get on that panel and be uncivil. Be a bulldog that calls the GOP on their lies and BS the moment they start spewing. And he will do that, for sure.

          •  That view is fine. (4+ / 0-)

That isn't my point.  MJD's view on it is different based on her experiences in FL.  I personally do not think there is a simple and necessarily superior answer as to his participation - or even to participation by Dems overall.  But my point is that MJD, in no way, is a "Repuke in Dim's clothing" because of her view and to state such is stupid.

As to Grayson, I like him but I also feel that he cam be spun up rather easily and that made him less effective.  And it appears that it wasn't well suited to his constituents either.  To me there is a fine line between being "a bulldog" and being unhinged.  No matter how good your message is or how correct you are, once you cross that line you lose credibility.  Now I may be wrong, but my sense of hm is that his return to the House was due in part to his dialing back his previous methods.  It seems to have worked and is continuing to work for him.

but his putting himself forward now scares me. And yes, his present major family problems and simultaneously advertising his wanting to dive into this extra conflict worries me.  He could be a loose cannon looking for an outlet.

It seems to me that any witness in this political witch hunt can state, and state repeatedly, that the Republican House of Representatives refused the "begged for" funding for those Middle Eastern embassies. (let alone an outpost)

      •  you need to STFU (5+ / 0-)

before you make an even bigger fool of yourself.  I and many if not most of the Dem base don't think we need to give legitimacy to this clown show.
