She's done well so far, and it may be the smart path to let the governor do the heavy lifting on Kynect and even the ACA. At least give her a day or 2 to think things through and respond.

    •  No, responding is losing. (2+ / 0-)

She's fighting on McConnell turf. There is no point in relitigating ObamaCare, it is a settled issue.

She needs to have Mitch be the one doing the responding, taking the fight to HIM on his record, his personality, and his values.

in KY.  I do not get it really.  it has to be the color imho.

ALG is playing it right but we hate it.

I cannot stand Joe Donnelly from Indiana.  He is the titular head of the democratic party in our state.  As a pro-lifer with an A+ NRA rating, i find it disgusting that he holds a state wide seat as a democrat.

but what choice did i get?  He only won because Dick Lugar wasn't conservative enough and they nominated a lunatic named Murdock.  He would have won if he would not have spoken in a debate about rape.

our country has gone crazy.  we are getting dumber as a nation.  You used to have to have talent to be a senator.  Now just a bunch of crazy people talking nonsense in one of the parties.

The Democratic Party is a big tent party. The Repubs masquerade as one, but TP ideas have utterly hijacked their mindset.

Joe Donnelly's social positions may be disagreeable to you, but remember. He's for SSM, he's quite clearly votes with the party economically (dodd-frank and whatnot) and he says Obamacare is good but needs improving.

I can get why you don't like him for his issues, but disgust? I wouldn't mind him.

Hell, Rob Portman is my senator, and John Kasich is my governor. I'd love to turf them out, but I wouldn't be  really furious if they win re-election in 2016 and 2014, respectively.

But yeah, the country's mindset is strange, we're overall shifting to the left, but we just can't be bothered to go out and  vote. That's why voter turnout is SO ridiculously essential for us.

The ACA didn't just materialize the night before that interview.

I live in one of the handful of semi-Democratic strongholds, and enthusiasm for ALG was lukewarm even before we found out she reached out to Bevin supporters.

"Vote for me, I'm not Mitch" ain't gonna do it.
