    but I love those little trailers that are popping up everywhere. The one in  the first photo is a beauty. Feeds my solo camping daydreams.

    Think we're moving out of our aging family tent this year and into smaller backpacking tents--even for campground times.

      We tent-camped a lot when I was a kid. Ordinary middle-America.

      Then I tent-camped for 20 yrs in the SCA, getting more and more elaborate. I don't think there are any pics of ours on-line, but google "SCA tents encampments" and you'll get a slew of Pinterest pages!

      Haven't been camping much recently, but I am seeing tear-drop types pop up again in our middle (er, upper-working? class neighborhood).

      "real" work : a job where you wash your hands BEFORE you use the bathroom...
