It's all you have,  is fear of Republicans when what we lack is meaningful action and leadership from too many of the Democrats and those who wish to be elected.

When not even John Boehner has stooped so low as to call for Shinseki's resignation,  it is shameful that any Democratic candidate would do so, rather than point the finger of blame where it belongs,  with the Congressional Republicans who have refused to fund any VA needs for the past decade.

don't always believe what you think

    •  Oh such nonsense (0+ / 0-)

There are reports that parts of the VA covered up their own incompetence. Covered it up. Like, falsified the wait period. That happened under Shinseki's watch. A leader bears responsibility for the actions of his underlings. And if he were at all competent himself, he'd have been hammering congress every single time he could to fund the VA. He'd have shamed Obama into making it a priority. He'd have gone public. When it comes to vets dying, a man in Shinseki's position should've done everything humanly possible to get them the help they needed.

He didn't. Screw him. We need Jim Webb heading the VA instead.

    •  And btw (0+ / 0-)

What we need is less of you and more of Michelle Nunn. We need someone who's willing to call out her own party for fucking up, not someone who thinks any criticism of such fuck-ups is an apostasy.
