    I commented multiple times a few months ago about the absence of bees in my yard, here in NE Fla.  aside from the responses that I needed to wait, as it was still early, I didn't get much of an explanation.  I was particularly concerned about the cherry laurels, as those are favored by migrating robins.  I'm happy to report that something pollinated them; there's a bumper crop of drupes developing.

    But I'm still seeing very few bees.  Or butterflies.  Or anything else.
