Thanks for posting your story. I have a RA in my spine. Even though it's very painful, just to look at me, you wouldn't know I was actually disabled. I haven't had a pain free day since early 2007. Imagine someone pinching the nerves in your spine all day, very day without an end in sight. That's my life. At this point, the only thing keeping me on this planet is the love of my wife and my Beagles. I've been called a scammer quite a few times over the years. I've had neighbors brag they "turned me in". In their eyes, if you're not in a wheelchair, you're okay to work. Even my immediate family has turned their backs on me. They think I'm exaggerating my condition and I'm a lazy bum who wants to suckle off my wife and the system. They easily forget my work at dairy farms, lumber yards and landscaping crews. They also forget my work at banking and insurance jobs while earning awards and promotions for my work. No, I'm just a lazy bum who can't take the pain.

So thanks for your story. It helps to know there are other people in the same boat as me. Like they say; "misery loves company" and like my wife says; "people suck".

    Karma to you.
