George W Bush and a few other powerful people, and many of their obtuse followers, believe he did a damned fine job. W and several others wished and planned to enhance the advantages, wealth and power of the 1% or 5% or whatever the number is. If that included killing thousands of people and cost trillions of dollars, that is the cost of doing business. They and their children were not put in harm's way. That is why he said he is "comfortable" with the outcome of the Iraq and Afghanistan invasions and also why he has no regrets. He did his job and has been praised, privately, no doubt, by those who were enriched. And yet, many GOP voters will go down the same road again, given the opportunity, for reasons which defy logic.
