    the center is always to the right of the center.

    222 house republicans support the Ryan budget that would convert Medicare to a premium-support program. In other words, they want to repeal Medicare and replace it with a system that works just like Obamacare.

      The center is the center, by definition. Which is why when John Meacham said "America is a center-right nation" I threw up all over my shoes.

      Yes, the center moves. Yes, it has moved rightward on many issues, especially fiscal. But it is still the center.

      Almost everything you do will seem insignificant, but it is most important that you do it.

        If one simply defines their point of view as the center of the nations Overton window representing the center, then correct.

        If one looks at a specific, fixed left/right scale, such as the Political Compass, then we are, in fact, center right.

        Basically, what Obi-Wan points out to Luke in ROTJ:  Truths are determined by point of view.
