So . . . . the Alabama governor won't accept Medicaid expansion because: (1) "Medicaid is broken and we should fix it first," and (2) "we can't trust the feds to contribute their share in the future."

Here in Virginia, our Republican-controlled House of Delegates refuses to accept Medicaid expansion because, according to them:   (1) "Medicaid is broken and we should fix it first," and (2) "we can't trust the feds to contribute their share in the future."

Why do I get the feeling I'm living in a rightwing echo chamber??

the more it drowns out reality for the Right Wing. This should be our issue. This and the minimum wage hike, along with gender equality. We can slam their party as hard as possible by highlighting every little way in which they don't live in reality, in which they don't care about a single person outside of their personal bubbles and echo chambers.

... in Alabama and Mississippi, to name just two states that I know studies have addressed, have shown that the expansion would be a net gain for both, yet these idiot governors are so blinded by ideology and knee-jerk Obama hate that they've totally ignored the conclusions of medical, social and financial experts. It's just doubly despicable that the governor rejecting life-saving expansion in Alabama happens to be a doctor. Whatever happened to the Hippocratic oath to first do no harm? It sounds like an echo chamber because it is. They've all learned to recite the same wingnut catechism. They have to renounce the devil Obama and all his works.
