1500 kWh, but didn't give a time period.  I have to assume it's over a year.  In a good month my 10 kW solar PV system will put out 1500 kWh and I'm happy to get 10,000 kWh a year.  13,000/year from a little wind turbine would be astonishing indeed.

Google "wind resource map." Some areas of the USA are very good for wind, and some suck.

Aero drag (and thus power generated by a wind device) varies with the square of wind speed. Thus areas with irregular high-speed gusts are generally more favorable than areas with steady but light breezes.

back to the .pdf at the manufacturer's site. The docs are in a mix of Dutch and English.

On average the LIAM f1 produces approximately 1180 to 1500 kWh annually (with an estimated average wind speed of 5.2 m/sec)
This may be half of an average household's consumption in the Netherlands -- not in the US. In fact, I think that is quite likely. We are still energy hogs, and continue to see cheap energy as our birthright.

Still, a house with one of these to supplement a, say, 4 kW system, and some storage, could have plenty of power for a pleasant lifestyle as long as you don't use air conditioning or a swimming pool.

could get more than one. The article did not mention the cost.

Did you see it in the Dutch material?
