    exploding all over the ground is equal to pretty much any
    violence I've seen in awhile. Yep, the Spartacus series is violent. So is True Blood, but I think because Game of Thrones is realistically acted, and not just cartoonish, it's got extra punch, I think.

    I think after a while cartoonish, graphic novel-style violence numbs and even bores. Game of Thrones violence still shocks me more than any series. That's just me, though.
