    appreciating these strap-on posers and all their actions bringing attention their way.

    That the TX GOP doesn't want them in the building is a three-fer:

    Highlights GOP gun hypocrisy
    Pisses off the True Patriot gunnies re 'GOP/NRA betrayal'
    Gets said angry strap-on posers protesting in public (outside the building; cameras please!)
    Praise the Derp and pass the Kevlar.

      The only real difference between a black powder pistol and a "real" pistol is the time it takes to reload.  Seems to me that by allowing black powder but not modern handguns, the TxRNC is tacitly agreeing that smaller magazine sizes increase safety.

        Smaller capacity forcing more frequent reloading slows down the shooter.

        Some people will argue that changing out a magazine in a modern firearm can take just a few seconds, but to me, that's still a few seconds where the shooter is distracted and not firing at targets, and that can be crucial in someon being able to either stop him or evade him.
