  •  I guarantee the weaponization of law (11+ / 0-)

enforcement the past 4 yrs, especially during and after Occupy, has been HUGE. What you're talking about is amateur hour compared to what they have bulked up for now.

I've never left a blank space on a ballot... but I will not vote for someone [who vows] to spy on me. I will not do it. - dclawyer06

    •  There is a reason that they (3+ / 0-)

Are spying on us, collecting DNA if arrested, facial recognition, militarizing the police, all agencies buying over a billion of ammo, militarizing the police.
And signing those POS acts like the Patriot, and especially the NDAA.
And I don't think it is to protect us from the boogeymen terrorists.
Nope, IMO, some big shit is going to happen soon.
I guess we will find out then what this has been all about.
All of our Rights have been eroded so much thatbthey are pretty much useless.
Oh, and has Habeous Corpus been returned to us?
But remember, we must elect 'better'democrats, like the one we did in 08.
How has that worked out so far in regards to our freedoms here.
I thought our military was fighting for our freedoms, yet since the bogus war of terror started, we have lost most of them.
Stay tuned. They are warming up for something big.
Also, the Martial Law they recinded after the bombings was a test run, IMO to see how people would react.

"Americans don't understand that terrorists cannot take away habeas corpus, the Bill of Rights, or the Constitution. Terrorists are not anything like the threat that we face from our own government in the name of fighting terrorism."
