    ... just 'cuz I thought keeping McDaniel out was the best strategic move.

    So, much as I hate to vote for Cochran again, I will... just so I can vote against him in the general. :)

      without a doubt. If McDaniel makes it to the general we have a chance to beat him.

        I hope Childers will will, and that's definitely who I'll be voting for in the general, but I have my doubts that any Democrat would win state-wide at this point in time.  And so it seemed a better risk to try to keep the Tea Party out.  Cochran is awful, but he's still more moderate (that being a relative word, definitely) than McDaniel.  

        But, I'll be happy to be surprised and see a Childers victory, and I'll be doing what I can to see that happen, even if I don't see a lot of hope for it...

          I just meant that if Cochran wins the runoff,whether or not you'd vote against him in the general doesn't really matter.

          I think you have logical reasons to vote for either Republican in the primary, though. That's your choice.
