    But don't you think they'd be talking it up - or somebody would be patting them on the back - if there was very much giving going on outside what is known as the foundation's work?  I promise you, working in non-profit, there are very, very few who are so modest and humble as to make a major gift and insist it be kept anonymous and confidential.

      common among the very wealthy, as it encourages unwanted requests from many groups.

      For example only recently Warren Buffets donations to Planned Parenthood of over $1.2 Billion over many years have become public.  See
