    As I think D Neiwert, at Orcinus, was first to point out years ago, if you want to know what malfeasance the Pubbies are engaging in or planning to commit, just look at what they're accusing Dem's of doing.
    Of course, because they're all about accountability, I'm sure true confessions are in the offing.

      But you are 100%right.  They engage in a practice of getting in the first accusation.  It makes it harder to accuse them of the same shenanigans since it comes off as petty and undermines the accusation.  Dems would be forced into a "nuh uh, they did it!" Type of argument.  Which worse case scenario for the Republicans means that common folk lapse into a "both sides do it" complacency and may be discouraged from voting.   It really is a low risk high reward item for Republicans since they really don't want the "wrong" people (under 7 figures net worth) voting.
