  •  Gay therapy in the 1950s (0+ / 0-)

The Australian period drama "A Place to Call Home" has spent the first four episodes of its second season on "treating" a gay man so he can become "straight". The treatments include heavy sedation, electro-shock therapy, aversion therapy including vomit-inducing drugs, and the third episode ended with a demonstration that a lobotomy - "shown to be 100% effective cure" - could be done with an instrument passing through the eye-socket. Highly recommend getting your hands on this show.

These money-grubbing sadists are still in business and still unable to show a single conversion of a gay man into a 100% heterosexual man.
