  •  Just wrote Chuck Schumer urging (11+ / 0-)

him to reject the Boggs nomination -- both in Committee and, if it does come to the floor, there, as well.  I cited his poor record on civil rights, the environment, LGBT rights and abortion rights, as well as his prevarications and distortions while testifying.

Dick Cheney was completely wrong about Iraq, and we are still struggling with the aftermath of what Dick Cheney and his crew thought was the right policy: To go in and start a war of choice for the wrong reasons. -- John Kerry

Are any Repukes going to vote to confirm him? Or will this be a self-inflicted wound for Democrats?

GOP 2014 strategy -- Hire clowns, elephants, and a ringmaster and say "a media circus" has emerged and blame Democrats for lack of progress. Have pundits agree that "both sides are to blame" and hope the public will stay home on election day.

      •  I'm sure that all the GOPers will (6+ / 0-)

vote for him.  After all, he really is one of them.

even if it gets out of committee.  It's their say whether anything gets to the floor or not, and Reid is dead set against this clown.
