The last time these jokers were in charge they cratered the global economy and started two wars.  I don't think there's any rational person on earth who wants to see a Teapublican takeover of the US government.

Our voters on the right will vote for anyone with an R after their name, however.

The GOP will destroy anything they can't own.

"I don't think there's any rational person on earth who wants to see a Teapublican takeover of the US government."  Unfortunately, there seem to be lots of IRrational persons in this country.

    •  Low info voters have no real idea what side did... (4+ / 0-)

Low info voters have no real idea what side did what in the arena of politics. They just get angry and vote for the other side that's not in power at the time. We've seen it happen a million times, hence the reason it is not good for the voter population to be having a general foul feeling about their country in the polls when election time rolls around.

Most people in this country don't vote at all. Out of the percentage that actually do vote, a big majority have no real clue what the hell is going on beyond their own small personal view of the world. Those of us that are political junkies and admit to it and might even call it a passion or hobby, see things beyond their scope and research and read and have a real view of all things political and who is doing what, but this is not a normal activity for most voters. I know it seems strange to us but really most people find politics boring or too personal to talk about socially or in public and it is certainly not worthy of skipping the latest prime time whatever show or watching You Tube videos of a cat dancing or whatever.

I see it in most everyone else I know who indeed vote but are not in any way a political activist...they vote, yes, but do not have a real clue beyond the very surface details of what they vote for...including my own husband.

If they want to know more about something, they might ask someone like me or you or go read who knows what or listen to whatever program might support their limited view of what's going on.
