    He uses humor, but it looks like he's laying it out in Technicolor. "Where we've been" - not some mythical city of gold that's probably pure fantasy, but a part of our past that many Americans lived through and remember.   I think Reich has the ability to convey in layman's terms what has been done to undermine the middle class and working people since Reagan.  The suspension bridge graphic is a great way to show the similarities between 1929 and 2008 and what was required (the New Deal) to pull us out of the abyss the last time.
