has basically been "Here's Grimes' case. She needs to make it."
The suggestion to me is that she is not making this case, which is political malpractice. What is wrong with the Grimes campaign? Please tell me they're not this incompetent. Are they keeping their powder dry, or what?

I understand that it's KY, and that there are an undetermined number of people who already think that Ky-nect is not connected to the dreaded Obamacare. Well then, seems like now would be a good time to educate them on the facts. In fact, it would be unfair not to let them know that there is a candidate in the race who says he is dedicated to taking away their shiny new health insurance. Don't they deserve to know about the threat to them? If the media won't tell them, surely the Dem candidate should make the effort.

wants to focus on bread and butter issues like raising the minimum wage and avoid anything that connects her to Obama, who is pretty much reviled by the conservaDem voters they are trying to woo.

They are going to go all in on a ground campaign since this will be a tight race and that could make the difference.

I just met with a field organizer for the western half of the state on Saturday. My county is one that will be targeted for the ground campaign.

than health care coverage?  Minimum wage, wage fairness, health care and prescription coverage, not to mention carbon pollution, are all bread and butter issues, and particularly important to women.

I'm disturbed by her unwillingness to go after McConnell on kynect, but she is so afraid of being remotely associated with Obama that it makes my head hurt.  Instead, she is dueling it out with McConnell over who loves coal miners more.  And both campaigns have entered the stupid zone.

I'd blog about all of this, but it seems that I'm not very good at writing interesting diaries.
