If I needed Medicaid and elected a Democrat to the state house, and Republicans bribed him to resign so they could deny me Medicaid, I wouldn't vote for the Republican in the special election to replace him.

If needed Medicaid and I had voted for his Republican opponent in the last election, I'd like to say I wouldn't vote for the Republican to replace him, either. But if I had voted for a Republican I'd be unpredictably insane anyway - even if I didn't need Medicaid.

hidden deep in Obamacare. You can't find it by reading the law or any Web site. You just sign up for it, start working to make it available to others, and voila! You're cured.

This is particularly applicable to those up to the age of 26 who get to stay on their parents' policies, for whom this is the New Normal. As they approach the age of 27, they will be inundated with insurance offers, so there will be no doubt of nearly all of them continuing to be insured, except those who fall at some point into a state Medicaid gap.

Now all the rest of us have to do is to get them to vote.
