    This story recounts how Caltrans has left this incompetent company on the job during the past 3 years since Brown was elected. He's the actual governor in office.

    How can you possibly pin this on someone else? Schwarzenegger's ample blame is  (ahem) water under the bridge. Even if all you want to do is whine, there's 3 years of whining to pin on Brown.

      for Brown, and I was curious as to why...  No one is perfect, nor can one get elected in this day and age without cow-towing to certain business interests...  Brown taxed the rich!!!  And now we have a balanced budget (albeit still enormous debt).  How many other elected officials can you name who've not only advocated but succeeded in taxing the rich?

      I'm against his stand on fracking, btw... maybe we can get him off that, since the Monterey shale has been termed not worth the trouble.
