  •  And yet... (21+ / 0-)

You make a point of entering them, consistently, subjecting yourself to that "tag-teaming."

One would think you'd want to avoid such HORRIBLE treatment, given how often it "happens."

    Apparently not.

    Bye.

    •  Yes, I know it's your plan to be obnoxious and (0+ / 0-)

therefore purify diaries from any dissenting opinion and to have little areas just for people you identify as being in Your Tribe.   It's not like you're ashamed of it.

Well, see you and your reccers in the next diary where you bemoan how badly Your Tribe is being treated, how there's a lack of free speech, and how STFU is bad for debate.

Because, to borrow Hunter's great phrase, I'm painting a barn with hypocrisy and I'm a few hundred barrels short.

Bye.  There's other diaries that aren't lighting the BADsignal.

is all it takes to "purify" diaries of dissenting opinion.

        •  Dude, did you really mean to rec this statement? (0+ / 0-)
"Secure in your own home" while Stalkers watch your every move?
Either you're a little wacky, or you're reccing everything in the sort of tribal solidarity I referred to, or both.

That's tin foil talk, but somehow I'm supposed to be citing cases?

No, thanks.  Let other people deal with it.

For instance, I fully expect to read a few hundred variations on "Bye", "Let other people deal with it", "You folk have fun", etc without the writer actually going anywhere.

      •  No, you don't know it's "my plan." (8+ / 0-)

Because, not counting the one I'm now typing, I've posted one comment in this diary, to you, and it wasn't obnoxious.

        This is SOP for you.

You attempt to make it look like everyone else is the problem in order to distract from the uncomfortable truth that it's you getting called out for doing what you always do in Bob's diaries, which is to saturate them with "comment noise," which you then try to characterize as "valuable disagreement" that's being "silenced" by a bunch of meanies who are ganging up on you or something.

        Sorry, but no.

        Bye.

        •  Oops. You bungled that defense. (0+ / 0-)

You hadn't posted anything obnoxious yourself..yet...but you did say that you expected me to leave the diary in reaction to other obnoxious comments.

So now we know that we know that you won't criticize obnoxious comments, but will blame the victim for sticking around, your purpose is clear enough for the obnoxious comments that you and others make.

which is to saturate them with "comment noise,"
And have you made a single substantive comment in the diary?

No, of course not: for some reason, your pursuit of meta and casting of accusations isn't noise, it's valuable.  Which, unfortunately, for this diary is true enough: it's not meant to be a discussion, it's meant to be a safe place for your handwaving.

I didn't "expect" you to do anything. This is what I said:

One would think you'd want to avoid such HORRIBLE treatment, given how often it "happens."
Most normal people tend to remove their hand from a hot stove when they realize they're getting burned. I was wondering aloud why you seem to like hot stoves.

As to your question regarding whether or not I've made a single substantive comment in the diary.

            Yes.

My one comment got more recs than your 22 comments in this diary combined. (18) of those (22) comments of yours have zero recs.

So I did more with less, while you did exactly what I said you always do — clutter up comment sections with noise.

            Bye.

            •  Well, once again, you tell me a lot. (0+ / 0-)

              1)  You think that your comment on me entering diaries is substantive, which shows you have no idea what a substantive comment is, much less want to ever MAKE one.

But my substantive comments are clutter, your meta harassment is perfectly fine...which says that you believe the purpose of the diary is the sort of handwaving that got you eighteen recs for meta based hostility, not actual content.  Thanks for stumbling into that.

              2) You think that when someone is abusive and harassing, it's the job of the harassed to leave, not for the abusers and harrassers to tone it down.  The idea that a bobswern diary is a hot stove that, golly, just IS HOT is the sort of amoral, tribal handwaving hostility that you should be ashamed of. That's perfectly consistent with your belief that the purpose of the diary is to express meta hostility and for handwaving to the tribe, not for someone to actually point something out about an issue.

BTW: if 18 is so great, how come I got 18 and 37 recs to comments in normal diaries?  Maybe this handwaving to the tribe isn't getting you the approval you crave.

No, it shows that your definition of "substantive" isn't the one accepted by the community. Repeating the same rejected argument over and over in every diary posted about this topic is not "substantive." It's noise.
But my substantive comments are clutter, your meta harassment is perfectly fine...which says that you believe the purpose of the diary is the sort of handwaving that got you eighteen recs for meta based hostility, not actual content. Thanks for stumbling into that.
Your definition of "meta harassment" is, like your definition of "substantive," similarly rejected by the community. It's your way of making what was a rather mild comment appear to be something it wasn't. This allows you to further perpetuate the myth that you are a victim who's being treated unfairly. Sorry, but no. Trying to blame me for your own failure to go unnoticed doesn't fly.
Yes, if the audience has decided that someone's contribution isn't valuable, they should exit the diary, rather than insisting people see it their way.

You've done the same to me on the few occasions that I took you up on your challenge and ventured into a diary where my opinion was unpopular. You wasted no time accusing me of trolling. Your problem stems from the fact that you don't think you should expect that kind of negative reception yourself.

You seem to think that maybe this time you'll get lucky. That the same people who've been putting up with your nonsense in these diaries will suddenly stop calling you out on it, and just let your long-debunked arguments stand unanswered and as the final word on the matter. You won't write your own diary, because you know what kind of reception it will get: dismissed as "bunk." It's much easier, safer, and enjoyable for you to just pollute Bob's diaries with your tripe.

BTW: if 18 is so great, how come I got 18 and 37 recs to comments in normal diaries?
Again, you're working with a non-standard definition when you speak of "normal diaries."

To me, this diary isn't any less "normal" than whatever diary you were in that somehow managed to land you a record-breaking two comments that people found were anomalous enough for them to actually rec in numbers greater than zero.

Maybe this handwaving to the tribe isn't getting you the approval you crave.
More likely, your eyes keep catching your reflection in that mirror next to your computer as you're trying to type out comments. Focus, Inland, focus.

                Bye.

                •  Oops, zero recs for you. (0+ / 0-)

Looks like nobody's buying your bull, even in diaries you pick for handwaving tribal appeals.

And lo, while you keep saying that nobody recs me, fact is, the last time you tried to troll me I got more recs in THAT diary (the GTFO diary),  and yesterday, I got more recs than you total.

I guess it's one thing for you to have pathetic handwaving, but it's not even winning the approval you crave.  The passive aggressives who enjoy watching you harass the Not Our Kind are sick of you.

                  Get a clue from that.
