Of course, phone calls are surveilled and everything done on the internet is surveilled. Cameras are installed not only on streets and in buildings frequented by the public but also in public transportation and on street lamps. There's also the capability to turn a cell phone into, essentially, a scanner, as well as some indications that newer models of televisions and X-boxes can also be used for surveillance. And laptop cameras, of course.

It sounds crazy cause it is crazy. But it's not a form of crazy I or JimP invented. What's crazy is wanting to use the technology available for such a crap purpose.

No point in killing the messenger. Too much info has spread too far.

I guess I don't know that "surveilled" means, but I can guess you don't mean listened to, or watched.  Which makes me wonder, again, how you can recc something that sounds crazy, not because it's impossible, but because it's not happening.

I mean, seriously, you're saying someone is listening in on all our calls and reading all our email?

You realize those are slogans, right?  I mean, in fact, the USPS does let snow stop them.

And of course, you can more easily assume these things because POOF!  Congress and FISA courts disappear.

So your reality is more subtraction than addition.

And you wonder why nobody takes this stuff all that seriously.
