  •  Just east of Seattle in a little town called (8+ / 0-)

North Bend. But you can't go anywhere in the Seattle area without finding a local seafood shop. For example there's one in Issaquah called Gemini Fish Market that we love as well.

We've got some friends that live on the Chesapeake and they'll occasionally box up and ship us a couple of dozen soft shell crabs. Boil those and coat them with some Old Bay and let the gorging commence!

GOP 2014 strategy -- Hire clowns, elephants, and a ringmaster and say "a media circus" has emerged and blame Democrats for lack of progress. Have pundits agree that "both sides are to blame" and hope the public will stay home on election day.

    •  Now you're making ME salivate. (4+ / 0-)

      Not. Fair.

We're in Sammamish - definitely have to get down there.  Do they carry bluefish in season?  That's something I've missed since leaving New England.  (Baked Bluefish Breslin - a ridiculous recipe that tastes incredible with a strong, oily fish!)

      •  Not sure, but it sounds like an Atlantic fish (0+ / 0-)

and they're pretty much local only. Though they might be able to suggest a replacement.
